I had problems with my usb ports failing each time and I'm guessing the onboard usb ports in my motherboard is dying out and this usb card helped alot and saved If it works, the PCI2 slot is bad.If it does not, install it on PCI1 slot.If it works, the PCI3 slot is bad.If it does not, you still have card or USB2.0 Upgrade.
