Try my settings first, then if you need to go further, then dump the rest.
Don't forget to run the Registry clean up too. Even League of Legends I have to run on low, now. Also, there is the option to delete entries that got removed but did not clear from the list. I know something has to be wrong because nothing has changed hardware-wise, and I just recently reinstalled a fresh copy of windows, so i don't think that could contribute to anything.
