Not to backtrack, last time right before this happened my CD Rom & DVD-RW drives stopped working. just removing the RAM and placing it again did the trick :) GR8! I checked the power supply by connecting another one to my system but it did not help. weblink and 2 case fans which use teh psu's molex connectors.

I live in Mauritius. Well, the problem with your system hanging / restarting is all about defective memory card. My pc is a dell dimension 3100 and I have to cut it on by taking the sleeve off of it internally is there anyway to make it start like a I can't figure out this strange behavior.

Report natalia1117- Mar 22, 2009 at 01:48 PM i was having the same issues, blank monitor, light comes on, fan on, no beeps and I read this post. I'm running a hp Media, XP with an ASUS PTGD-LA Mobo. My PC would eventually boot up after numerous power on/off. Remove the VGA card and clean with the eraser and place back in position properly.
