Supposedly its only a 5.1 card. I had my cheap speakers connected to the white output and it worked ok for months. I have tried what everyone has done but it doesn't work. I've had 5.1 surroundsound from WoW in the past, but with MoP(perhaps with 5.x it started????) The sound first of all sounds choppy especially when I'm doing smething in the background and I got 4 gig ram so I don't think that is the problem. Far as I can tell, only 2-speaker sound with the 64-bit client. 5.1 surround works great with 32-bit client. I'm hoping Realtek realizes and fixes this issue, however, to be fair, this might be an Vista/Windows 7 issue. Also please do not forget to reboot your computer.
