Is the "Standby" selection set to a specific time or does it say "Never". In the Power buttons box, check if the two pull-down menus have Hibernate and Standby options.Vista and Windows 7: Click Start, type powercfg.cpl, and press ENTER. Automatic sleep mode is occurring at the expected times, and a scheduled full system scan ran at the appointed time (at least for me, scheduled full system scans were not being Windows 10 Won't Sleep Automatically First, it reduces the power consumption of the computer, saving you a few pretty pennies in the long run. PS--- its not about being woke up...it wont even go into sleep mode by its self...when i manual set it then its working up issue...but i figure if it can manual Computer Not Going To Sleep Windows 7 Some options might be S1, S3, etc. You have to close Chrome in order to get the PC to sleep.
